Who We Are

FX Nairobi is a forex bureau management SaaS platform built and operated by SomICT, a technology company based in Nairobi, Kenya. We build software that helps financial businesses operate efficiently, stay compliant, and scale with confidence.

We are a team of software engineers, product designers, and finance professionals who understand the unique challenges faced by forex bureaus in Kenya — from counter-level transaction processing to CBK compliance and multi-branch management.

Why We Built FX Nairobi

Most forex bureaus in Kenya still rely on manual processes — paper ledgers, Excel spreadsheets, and memory. This creates risk: compliance gaps, lost transaction records, difficulty seeing daily profit, and staff accountability issues.

FX Nairobi was built from the ground up to solve these problems. We designed the platform specifically for how Kenyan forex bureaus actually operate — counter-first, mobile-ready, KES-native, and CBK-aware.

To give every licensed forex bureau in Kenya — whether a single counter in Eastleigh or a multi-branch group in Nairobi CBD — access to professional-grade management tools that were previously only available to large banks and financial institutions.
